Unity5 is recruiting for a Business Development Executive who can lead our growth plans into critical new markets in the Local Authority sector. This is an important role within our sales team, taking responsibility for acquisition of new Local Authority prospects primarily in the London area.

Your key responsibilities are to:

  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to grow the pipeline of opportunities within the Local Authority sector.
  • Understand and communicate the value Unity5 offers to clients, crafting compelling value propositions for prospects.
  • Take ownership of progressing deals through the sales pipeline, including forecasting deal wins.
  • Lead client presentations, effectively positioning Unity5’s value and solutions.
  • Work with the pre-sales team to oversee software demonstrations, ensuring key client needs are addressed.
  • Represent Unity5 at industry events and deliver presentations on relevant topics.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Team and wider Unity5 team to secure new deals and develop long-term customer relationships.
  • Adhere to sales processes, utilising the CRM tool to capture client and deal information, ensuring knowledge is shared across the business.
  • Exhibit the necessary aptitude, attitude, execution, and activity to achieve significant wins and close deals.
  • Sell to multiple key decision makers across the business.
  • Manage and develop a robust sales pipeline of potential opportunities in the London region.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for each opportunity, including prospecting, preparation, approach, presentation, handling objections, closing, and follow-up.

Who You Are:

  • You possess a strong adaptability to shifting market conditions and client demands.
  • Your ambition drives you to exceed targets and push limits.
  • Have worked in a sales role in a SaaS environment.

The commercial team predominantly comes from a non-parking background, but we are a supportive team committed to shared success.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
