Zeag South Africa the wholly owned Zeag Group subsidiary based in Johannesburg, South Africa has had a busy time completing various parking projects in South Africa in time for the prestigious World Cup 2010.

Numerous installations have been completed in time for the World Cup including Green Point Stadium, Cape Town and Nelson Mandela Stadium, Port Elizabeth, two venues for 2010 WC and the stadiums of choice for a semi final and 3rd/4th place playoffs respectively.
Zeag SA has also supplied and installed Orion XR at Cape Town International Airport (CTIA) which includes an integrated bus rapid transport control system using Long Range Readers that links into the City Wide Transport Network. Zeag has also installed revenue parking equipment at a number of up market 6 star hotels including Crystal Towers, Century City and 15 on Orange, City Bowl. These hotels have integrated the hotels Ving Card Key system into the parking system to ensure a seamless experience from their customers perspective. Parking Guidance and Variable Message Signage complete the installations at these hotels.
Other successes within Cape Town where Zeag have installed Orion XR include numerous shopping malls, mixed use developments, hospitals and regional centres.
Another Zeag SA success is OR Tambo International Airport - Africa's busiest airport, with a projected annual capacity of 28,000,000 passengers in 2010. The airport is the hub of South Africa's largest international and domestic carrier, South African Airways (SAA), various other international carriers as well as a number of smaller local airlines. With 17000 parking spaces it is the largest parking facility in Africa. Zeag SA has installed a complete turnkey integrated solution which includes Variable Message Signs, Bay Monitoring. License Plate Recognition, Credit Card acceptance (Chip & Pin), pre-paid solution and integration into the hotel City Lodge. With a network solution that spans over 6km and over 300 ZEAG Orion peripherals this clearly demonstrates the power and stability of the Zeag Management System (ZMS) the core software module for linking Zeag car park equipment.
