Zeag South Africa is honoured by Airports Company South Africa at the Feather Awards
Each year, Airports Company South Africa host their prestigious Feather Awards at their airports. Suppliers and Services Providers to Airports Company South Africa are honoured and thanked for their support and services throughout the year.
This year Zeag South Africa scooped the well deserved Airport Managers Award for East London Airport. Michael Kernekamp, the Airport Manager presented the award to Zeags Grant Humphrey at the ceremony.
Zeag South Africa have supplied, installed, serviced and maintained precision Swiss Made Orion and OrionXR pay on foot parking revenue generating equipment at most of ACSAs main airports. In 2010 Zeag installed a pay on foot parking system at East London Airport, the replacement of an old pay at exit system. Zeag worked closely with ACSA and other project stakeholders ensuring a smooth transition from the old to the new parking system.
Installing and activating the new OrionXR Lane Entry stations as standalone units long before the remainder of the system was installed and commissioned, ensured that all travelers had the correct parking ticket for payment at the Pay Station on return from their travels says Trevor Fletcher, Sales and Marketing Director of Zeag South Africa.
With managing the drop and go with Zeags OrionXR parking system and an integrated Zeag Seasonal Parker access control system to the tenant parking area, congestion on the frontage road at East London Airport during peak landing times was significantly reduced.
Local Zeag representation in the East London region for support, service and maintenance solidifies customer confidence in Zeags OrionXR parking systems.
