Product Manager (Nanterre, FR)

Description:

The Product manager reports to General Management. It constitutes the link between the market and the company's research and development activities.
Its role is to ensure that the products developed by SURVISION meet market expectations, while being part of the company's product strategy. It therefore constitutes an essential element for the success of the company.

Main activities:

• Stay up to date on the latest technologies in use in SURVISION market segments.
• Understand and synthesize market needs through discussions with customers and salespeople, participation in trade fairs, reading the specialized press or sectoral studies.
• Participate in strategic product committees in order to guarantee the inclusion of the product roadmap in the strategic axes of the company.
• Write technical-functional specifications for R&D in order to guide it very precisely in its developments.
• Manage the roadmap produced.
• Ensure the quality of R&D developments and their compliance with specifications.
• Organize communication around new products with Marketing.
• Manage datasheets and user documentation for the company's products.
• Ensure that field observations on product specifications are taken into account.

Secondary activities:

Assist salespeople in the response phases to calls for tenders

Required profile:

Minimum academic training desired : Long higher education (Engineer, Business school, graduate school, Master, etc.)

• Basic office pack (WORD, EXCEL, PP.…)
• Computer tools for editing, design and image processing (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
