Data Scientist (Budapest, HU)

Asura Technologies Ltd. based in Budapest and founded in 2017 is actively seeking a talented and driven individual to join our team as a Data Scientist. As a leading player in the technology industry, we specialize in harnessing the power of data to drive innovation and create cutting-edge solutions.

You will play a pivotal role in unlocking the potential of our data assets. You will be responsible for exploring and identifying novel ways to utilize data, participating in productization efforts, and execute key data management steps. This includes understanding, cleaning, and providing clear interpretations of data to drive informed decision-making.

Tasks

• Explore and uncover innovative ways to utilize data assets for business growth.
• Actively participate in the productization of data-driven solutions.
• Execute crucial data management steps, including understanding, cleaning, and interpreting data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract valuable insights from complex datasets.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of advanced analytics models.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role
• Solid understanding of data management processes, including data cleaning and interpretation
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Julia or R
• Strong SQL knowledge and ability to oversee complex data structures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferences

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field (Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, etc.)
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling
• Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks
• R&D experience in corporate environment
• Experience with mobility data
