IT Project Manager (Budapest, HU)

Introduction

Asura Technologies Ltd., founded in 2017 and based in Budapest, is looking for an IT Project Manager to join our team. Our company designs, develops, and deploys AI-based parking, traffic monitoring, and security systems worldwide, integrating our proprietary video analytics and license plate recognition software.

Asura is active globally, with the United States as a key market. Through our strategic partners, we are involved in numerous projects in various countries across Europe and Asia. In short, if you work with us, you're building international trends at home. Our growth is evident in the fact that over the past 7 years, our team has expanded from 3 to over 180 members, with an additional 40 working for us in the USA, and we have also opened an office in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Participating in the early stages of projects, planning scope and necessary resources
• Developing and executing project tasks, delivering per contract specifications
• Continuously understanding user needs, thereby creating further opportunities
• Preparing and maintaining project plans in collaboration with the development manager
• Close cooperation and coordination with clients and colleagues involved in the project
• Actively monitoring the development process and preparing up-to-date reports
• Actively tracking project performance and milestones, and preparing summaries
• Regular presentations to stakeholders in both Hungarian and English

Requirements

• Higher education degree
• Negotiation-level English language skills
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• Knowledge of project management methodologies
• Experience in managing development projects
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (in English as well)
• High-level problem-solving ability in a rapidly changing environment
• Willingness to collaborate with other teams while working independently
