Startup LetMeParkIt thought of a way to bring discounted parking options to the public by recycling existing, underutilized parking inventory.
According to this article and LetMeParkIt founder Marco Biscarini “LetMeParkIt gives parking space owners the ability to make incremental revenue on an existing asset, and it gives drivers the ability to locate and reserve parking before getting to their destination.”
Private entities and individuals now have a chance to generate revenue from offering private or underutilized parking spaces to the public. They can list parking spaces on letmeparkit.com and parkers can reserve their parking space through that platform as well.
This reminds me of "JustPark" in the UK and "SPOT" in the US. LetMeParkIt will be launched in April, 2015.
