A crowd-sourced based parking company, Lock-A-Spot, released a new app which helps drivers to find a parking space and which is now available on Android and iOs. Lock-A-Spot entered Chicago’s market with an app that helps changing the way of looking for parking spaces in the Chicago neighborhoods.
Lock-A-Spot is the first company that offers public streets and private parking spaces information on its exchange. The company charges a fee for the information service and GPS is used for the exchange facilitation.

This app will facilitate a radically new way to find, list, and exchange parking spaces on both public and private driveways of major cities. Getting around town just got easier – our service helps any driver find the nearest available parking space and get to where they need to be quickly,” says David Cao, Founder & CEO of Lock-A-Spot.
Lock-A-Spot new app requires first finding, downloading and installing the app on Google Playstore or App Store iOS. Second, looking for the nearest available parking spot. When the parking space request is accepted, drivers are able to see the space and the car holding the spot and the distance. Using Lock-A-Spot, users can list their parking spot as available to the next person who is entering the parking lot and looking for a free space.
