With the innovative magnetic field sensor technology provided by MSR-Traffic you can guide car drivers to the next free parking space via GPS navigation or modern dynamic traffic guidance technology. The wireless sensors are not weather-dependent and have a high detection accuracy. They can be cast in the floor of the parking space flush with the surface, which makes them vandal-proof and protects them from snow-ploughs.
How does it work:
If a vehicle drives onto a parking space the sensor detects the change in the magnetic field and transmits the received signal to the server via radio waves. The evaluation of the data is accomplished using a parking guidance system, ticket machine or navigation system.

Navigation, counting and single space detection
Efficient traffic guidance systems for multi-storey car parks provided by MSR-Traffic:
MSR Traffic ultrasonic sensors with integrated space lights are installed within the lane from where they can detect the occupancy status of single parking spaces and transmit the received signals (occupied/vacant) to the zone control via a serial interface.
Ultrasonic sensors and also magnetic field sensors enable the counting of vehicles in driving lanes or entrance and exit areas. Modern LED signs that display the number of free parking spaces on each level of the car park guide the customer to the next free parking space. This does not only avoid traffic in the garage caused by unnecessary searching for a parking space but also saves the customer precious time.
Ultrasonic sensor for the detection of the occupancy status of parking spaces:
As an additional benefit the parking guidance system can be visualised on a central PC and evaluated statistically. Due to the optimised usage of parking lots the operator can also reduce the cost for ventilation. The integration of mandatory gas alarm systems is possible.
