Q-Park Secure Long-Term Deal in Leeds

Q-Park, the European market leading parking operator, is pleased to announce that they have secured a 40 year lease on the 282 space St. John’s Centre car park in Leeds.

This long term property deal replaces the existing short term lease agreement that Q-Park held previously. On conclusion of this agreement there is an immediate refurbishment plan which will take 8 months to complete. The works will result in Q-Park introducing its recognisable house style to the facility including floor coating and decoration. The car park will receive a fully coated deck finish and walls and soffits will be painted.

St John’s Centre is one of five parking facilities operated by Q-Park in Leeds city centre. It is attached to the St. John’s Shopping Centre in the northern part of the city and is well located to serve a mixture of customers; those being shoppers, leisure, and also serves the Leeds Arena which was opened in 2013. The area has gone through a large transformation and this is likely to continue with Leeds City Council preparing further bids for funding for further development.
