Q-Park Expands Portfolio With New Parking Facility: BASF Medical Center In Ludwigshafen
The parking management company Q-Park was able to win another property in Ludwigshafen.
At the end of the year, the leading parking management company Q-Park was able to acquire a new parking property in Ludwigshafen. The parking area at the BASF Medical Center in Magnetbandstraße will be taken over by Q-Park in the management at the beginning of 2024.
It offers a total of 178 parking spaces on approx. 2,200 square meters on a spacious and easily accessible outdoor area. The parking facility is primarily aimed at employees and visitors of the medical center. In order to meet the needs of this location, the parking facility is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The rates for parking at the BASF Medical Center are €1.50 for the first hour, and €2.00 for each additional hour. The maximum daily fee is €15.00.
The outdoor car park will be equipped with modern parking technology. With the help of this, customers will be able to drive in and out easily by swiping paper tickets in the future.
"We worked closely with Q-Park on the conception, planning and development of the parking facilities," says Jürgen Sommerburger, Head of Building Services at BASF Wohnen + Bauen GmbH, which built the Medical Center for BASF. "The barrier technology and the setting for the PMS (Park Management System) also ran optimally with the help of Q-Park and the Manager Technical Operations there, Andreas Ober."
Paul Roth, Operations Manager for the Southern Region, is pleased about the acquisition of the parking facility and emphasizes: "Q-Park is committed to ensuring first-class parking management for visitors to the BASF Medical Center in Ludwigshafen."
With the new parking area, Q-Park is expanding its portfolio with another parking property in the southern region, so that a total of 38 parking properties are now managed by Q-Park there.
