The Village Of Tinley Park, IL Adds New Mobile Payment Option For Parking With Passport
The Passport Parking app is now available for users to pay for and manage off-street parking.
The Village of Tinley Park, Illinois is introducing a new, easy-to-use mobile payment application for parking, Passport Parking. The app is powered by the leader in unified parking and curb management, Passport, and allows users to pay for and manage their parking sessions seamlessly through their smartphones.
After downloading the free app from the App Store or Google Play, a user enters the respective zone number, license plate number and the desired length of time for parking. Users can receive notifications when their sessions are about to expire, extend their sessions remotely and view receipts and parking history. Users can also conveniently manage their parking online at passportparking.com.
“The introduction of a modern, user-friendly payment experience is an exciting time for parkers in the Village of Tinley Park,” says Director of the Community Development Department, Dan Ritter. “Additionally, the data we are able to aggregate through Passport’s platform allows for more insight into how our operations are running so we can continue to enhance the parking experience for everyone in our community.”
More than 800 cities, private operators and universities trust Passport’s platform as the only integrated system to power and operate mobile pay parking, parking enforcement, digital permitting, payments and more. In addition to the Village of Tinley Park, Passport partners with numerous locations across Cook County, including the City of Chicago, the Village of Broadview and the Village of Oak Park.
“We are excited to partner with the Village of Tinley Park and to provide the technology needed to elevate the parking experience and support enhanced decision-making from within,” says Jake Breig, Passport account executive. “Now, the Village can provide its community with the most efficient payment experience for parking on the market.”
The Passport Parking app is free to download from the App Store and Google Play. Users can also manage their parking online at passportparking.com.
