Passport And CityBase Partner To Help Cities Streamline Payment Experiences

Individuals in participating cities can now make payments, such as utility bills and parking citations, from a single source.

- Charlotte, US

Passport, the leader in unified parking and curb management, and CityBase, a Euna Solutions Brand and leader in payment technology, are partnering to provide a more seamless payment experience for both customers and city staff in the City of Evanston, Illinois. By combining Passport’s industry-leading platform and CityBase’s highly secure, self-service payment kiosks, the two companies now provide the Evanston community with a more accessible, convenient channel to make citation payments. In the near future, more cities will be able to benefit from this partnership.

Passport’s powerful citation API allows partners to integrate real-time citation details to improve the parking and citation payment experience. With this partnership, individuals in participating cities can make payments, such as utility bills and parking citations, from the same source. Additionally, payment data from the kiosks seamlessly integrates into the city’s existing reporting system, allowing for more efficient revenue collection and reconciliation.

We are proud to partner with Passport, a fellow leader in public sector technology, to support an innovative city like Evanston,” says Jim Murphy, Director at CityBase. “It’s our honor to support residents and staff through the launch of a highly accessible in-person payments solution.

More than 800 cities and private operators across North America trust Passport’s platform to power and operate mobile pay parking, parking enforcement, digital permitting, payments and more. The City of Evanston powers its digital parking, permits and enforcement operations with Passport and leverages this integration with CityBase to make payments easier for its community.

By partnering with industry leaders like CityBase, whose technology easily integrates into our platform, cities are able to provide their customers with additional options to seamlessly make payments and access services,” says Cole Jaillet, VP of Product at Passport. “This partnership exemplifies our commitment to enhancing our solutions so cities can improve the user experience, promote accessibility and streamline backend efficiencies.
