uPASS Access awarded as most innovative access control product

uPASS Access from Nedap is awarded as the most innovative access control product of 2013 in the worldwide security industry by the jury of Detektor International. The panel of judges, consisting of members of the editorial board of Detektor, motivated their choice:

“Through uPASS Access, Nedap successfully continues to bring useable and smart access control design to the security market”.

uPASS Access, the world’s smallest UHF reader for hands free building and door access, allows a revolutionary hands-free performance of 2 meters with battery-less badges. It is specifically designed for doorpost mounting and is the perfect solution for entrances that require both convenience and security like governmental buildings, clean rooms, airports, hospitals and entries for disabled persons. This ultra-small reader utilizes passive UHF cards (EPC GEN 2) and supports all common security industry standards.
