eSMART21 First Nedap Certified Wireless Vehicle Detection Partner in the Pacific

Recently eSMART21 was acknowledged as Certified Partner for Wireless Vehicle Detection. With this new certification, Nedap expands it's global coverage of Certified Nedap patners. eSMART 21 is a South Australian-based tech company specialising in innovative smart parking technologies for local government and intelligent smart parking solutions for emerging smart cities.

Established in 2010 by Jega Balakrishnan, eSMART 21 has developed products that are revolutionising parking management, including MetroPark – a sensor-based mobile application that enables drivers to easily locate vacant parking spaces in real time. The app promotes ticketless and cashless parking, allowing users to pay for tickets or purchase additional time via the app. The application also allows service providers to gain greater visibility into city’s parking analytics – from parking usage and vacancy, to overstay and revenue.

Nedap’s sensor technology is integrated with the eSMART21’s camera based parking enforcement and app based parking guidance. The recent installation with the City of Playford and the City of Charles Sturt have proven the reliable detection of the Nedap sensors for parking guidance and enforcement in on-street projects in Australia and fast ROI of parking enforcement based on the Nedap sensor technology.
