The proposal by IP for MMC Eindhoven was rated as the most economically advantageous tender. Based on this, the contract for the purchase, installation and maintenance of the new web-based parking management system was awarded to IP.

Short-term parking

Those using short-term parking simply get a ticket at the entry terminal. With the registration in the entry terminal, the license plate is recorded and printed on the parking ticket. When the visit is over, visitors using short-term parking pay via the automated payment machines and can exit with the license plate recognition. The barrier opens automatically when the license plate is recognized.

Permit holders

Employees and other permit holders can enter and exit the parking garage with the license plate recognition feature and with the permit pass. The hospital uses a Mifare based system. The hospital allows permits for visitors to be issued by the automatic payment machines. The license plate is paired with the permit.

Employee Parking

Employees can enter and exit the parking garage with the license plate recognition feature. This ensures a rapid traffic flow at peak times. Although the chances are small, if the license plate isn’t recognized, the employee can use his/her employee pass to enter and exit.
