"KSM Campus" app allows parking management at a high level

The Kantonsspital Münsterlingen hospital in Switzerland, which was constructed out of the walls of a former monastery, can look back on a 1,000-year tradition of providing medical health care. After gradually expanding the hospital buildings, Spitalcampus Münsterlingen had to meet the challenge of managing more than 900 parking spaces.

With Smart Parking, Hectronic was able to provide an innovative complete solution in collaboration with Nedap’s ground sensors.

A total of nine Citea parking ticket machines were installed. External monitoring is ensured via the CityLine Interface Parking Bay Enforcement Web by entering the parking space number into the machine. This solution has now been extended by the “KSM Campus” app, which allows convenient and easy payment of parking fees via smartphone. The app allows the enjoyment of additional advantages by entering the parking space number and the once-off storing of credit card data. The smartphone keeps users informed about remaining time up to the minute. If a meeting takes longer than expected parking time can easily be extended via the smartphone.
