Cellopark Expands Payment Services to Israel's Largest Hospital
Cellopark Technologies is continuing their off-street parking service expansion, allowing users to pay for parking in the Shiba Tel-Hashomer hospital, Israel's largest hospital.
Although Cellopark users have been able to pay for parking in several Jerusalem-based hospitals, this expansion marks the first hospital location for Cellopark in the busy central city of Ramat Gan, located on the outskirts of Tel Aviv.
In order to allow customers to pay quickly and easily from their mobile phones, without having to stop at payment machines, Cellopark integrated with IPI, Skidata's exclusive distributor in Israel. Connecting to existing LPR systems, Drivers visiting the hospital receive an SMS or a notification upon entrance via the Cellopark app, and an SMS confirmation when they accept the transaction. Customers will then receive a transaction summary as soon as they leave the car park.
With over 8,000 employees and volunteers entering and exiting on a daily basis, 4 hotels, 22 bus stations and 2 shopping malls, The Shiba Tel-Hashomer hospital is by far the largest hospital in Israel. The hospital covers a 200-acre area, with 5,300 parking spots and an estimated 15,000 entries per day.
One of the most important aspects of the Cellopark solution is the advantage of seamless entry and exit into the parking lots, substantially reducing congestion and lineups at the payment machines during peak hours.
"We are happy to announce the addition of one of Israel's most important hospitals to our off-street portfolio. With the addition of the Shiba hospital, we have added thousands of additional parking spots for the benefit of our users, saving them the hassle of having to pay at pay machines when visiting the hospital." -Avi Elfassy, VP Business Development
