Cellopark Integrates with Azrieli Mall Car Park in Tel Aviv

Cellopark Technologies recently integrated into the parking system at the Azrieli Mall in Tel Aviv allowing drivers to use the Cellopark app to pay for parking via their phone. Drivers visiting the mall can now enter the car park using LPR technology that captures the entrance and exit moments. Drivers receive an SMS or a notification via the Cellopark app where they accept the transaction. Customers will receive a transaction summary as soon as they leave the car park.

The Azrieli Mall in Tel Aviv is one of the busiest shopping centers in Israel with about 5,000 parking spaces, as well as three high-rise buildings and a core train station. Cellopark’s software solution was integrated into the existing Scheidt & Bachmann solution giving customers more options for accessing and paying for parking at the Azrieli Mall.

One of the challenges for the parking operator is the high traffic it receives during peak hours. With the Cellopark app, drivers now have more options to pay for parking decreasing the demand at the different pay stations throughout the facility. This results in more convenience for users of the Cellopark app as well as for other drivers whose experience will also be improved with this new product.
