Role Overview

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining existing customers/partners and engaging with new prospects in the parking/unattended market across North America - in full compliance with the overall sales strategy and sales pipeline. Loading new orders and providing proposals. Ensuring we communicate with customers and ensure that we always respond to new enquires

What you will be doing:

As Planet continues to rapidly grow and expand its value proposition across the globe, it is important for the candidate to have strong sales skills and an expansive network of contacts in the parking and unattended sector.

The candidate must be able to build long-term relationships and focus on the Planet offering, which will meet & exceed the requirements of our customers and partners. This candidate must also deliver results in a fast and qualitative way; as well as provide a consistent, and high level of customer service. These goals should be in-line with Planet’s policies and procedures - in keeping with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and overall Strategy.

Expectations:

  • Strengthen relationships with partners, customers, prospects, and internal/external resources to ensure smooth conversion and onboarding of referrals received from Unattended Partners
  • Lead meetings and drive relationships to deliver on assigned targets.
  • Work closely with Onboarding team and Partners to ensure customers are live and transacting within agreed timeframes.
  • Work closely with Partner Support team to ensure customers/partners queries are being addressed and customers are fully enabled to perform in line with the commercial expectations
  • Carry out regular account reviews with top merchants and Partners to ensure we are maximising on commercial opportunity.
  • Maintain a defined activity log of all actions relating to each account and ensure regular reporting.
  • Communicate weekly with the key stakeholders to give feedback on sales activity, to the extent these affect their areas of responsibility. Ensure all actions from these meetings are achieved within the agreed time frames.
  • Manage the negotiation of commercial agreements, coordinating their execution with the relevant departments in keeping with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the managers in decision making on product planning and marketing.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor, Master, or equivalent qualification, supported by strong business development experience within the parking & unattended market.
  • A proven track-record of accomplishments of managing strategic relationships, prospecting, and delivering high revenue / profitable and long-term agreements.
  • At least 3 years’ experience of performing sales in the unattended/parking market.
  • Must be goal orientated, agile and thrive in a performance related culture.
  • Proven written, verbal and numerical skills.
  • Proven organisational, planning, time management and budgetary skills.
  • Proven English speaking and writing language skills to a business standard.
  • Proven self-starter, networker and relationship builder. Must enjoy independent work.
  • Proven ability to work alongside unattended/parking payment stakeholders within the company and feel comfortable working alongside company executives and external senior executives.
