Data Analyst (Groenlo, NL)

As a Data Analyst you are part of the Analytics Team. This team works with development teams to provide overviews of the various applications hosted within the Nedap Tech Platform, advises them on specific insights gained from the data analysis and visualizations being created, and focuses on the operability of the platform. To do this, we work with the teams and business unit management (e.g. BU leads, tribe leads, developers) to ensure that the platform supports their needs and requirements and removes complexity.

Your passion for complex data sets and your ability to transform them into actionable insights play a crucial role in supporting the organization's data processing and analysis needs.

Your responsibilities:

• Leveraging monitoring tools such as Datadog to ensure the performance, reliability and availability of data pipelines;
• Help teams identify and address bottlenecks, performance issues and optimize data processing workflows;
• Visualization of dashboards to quickly gain insight into running applications, highlight risk areas and provide detailed information for implementation and support teams during upgrades;
• Helping teams understand their applications and how to best use the available data;
• Collaborate with development teams to understand the application and what can be considered critical support information;
• Collaborate with support teams to understand recurring issues and workflows;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements;
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on data analytics best practices;
• Sharing knowledge by giving demos and workshops to the various teams;
• Have the opportunity to grow into AI and Machine Learning skills in the future as the team expands in this area.

As a Data Analyst you will join our Analytics Team. This is currently in the start-up phase. This means there is a lot of room for personal input and there are career opportunities towards roles such as data engineer, data scientist or machine learning specialist. These data fanatics understand better than anyone that data must first be turned into information, are happy to provide advice and thus enable the Nedap business units to quickly gain insight into every application and/or proposition.

Required experiences and skills

As a Data Analyst it is important to be able to see the big picture. You are in contact with different development teams, each with their own challenges. This means you must have excellent problem-solving and communication skills and be able to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following:

• You have 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in similar roles such as BI Developer, Data Engineer and Data Specialist;
• You master the Python language and have applied it within the context of data analysis;
• You have experience in a communications role, in which you have experience with various stakeholders and/or internal customers;
• You have experience in building reports and dashboards.
