The opportunity

The Marketing Manager | Head of Marketing will work as part of the Product and Marketing team and will be responsible for developing and implementing the organisation’s overall communications strategy (both direct and partner-focused). The aim of this role is to oversee the use of a variety of marketing and communications techniques to ensure:

  • An active, direct participation in the payments ecosystem, helping customers and partners explore, understand and engage with DNA Payments at events, online and via marketing campaigns and collateral
  • Leadership of a high-performing marketing team with overarching responsibility for CRM, digital, social and website activities in support of the external commercial part of the business and assisting with internal HR-related communications
  • Leading customers’ communications, ensuring products and services are promoted in a clear, easy-to-understand manner

You will report to: Products and Marketing Director.

Day to day, you will

  • Develop and implement the organisation’s marketing and communications strategy with a transparent KPI basis.
  • Build detailed action plans and execute marketing projects accordingly
  • Partner with introducers, software and scheme partners to create impactful and meaningful event and partner programmes that brilliantly tell the DNA Payments story and showcase the value we bring.
  • Support our sales and commercial teams with standardised and bespoke collateral, as well as at meetings and tradeshows with new customers and partners.
  • Think “data and analytics-driven” to deliver high-performing branded collateral to tell DNA Payments’ story, including a great website, sales sheets, documents, tradeshows and events.
  • Manage a small internal team to offer strategic guidance, support on key campaigns and provide budget control.
  • Provide oversight on the brand strategy is consistent and reflects the organisation’s strategic vision.
  • Lead external communications, supporting the Digital Manager in delivering PR stories and social content and showcasing brand and new product stories.
  • Setting up a list of brand engagement-awareness KPIs, performing market and product research

About you. Proven skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role.
  • Wide understanding of B2B marketing disciplines, particularly digital, social, PR, and events.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in marketing analytics, measuring the efficiency of communication channels.
  • Experience in digital marketing tools and media crafting software.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent networking skills.

  • Big wow: proven track record in promoting and improving digital services, mobile apps, and online platforms.
  • Big wow: Experience working in an industry related to / experience of Fintech/Payments is preferable, particularly with an understanding of software or sales organisations.
