Mobile technology is making our daily lives easier and enabling businesses to better utilise their resources, services and deliver higher quality product more efficiently. The impact that mobile technology is having on the parking industry is remarkable, however, it appears that the best is yet to come.
Predictive parking, cashless parking, on-demand valet services, connected cars, dynamic pricing; these are all making the customer experience more supple – “frictionless”, to coin a phrase. It’s all working in the customer’s favour – and these all have positive outcomes for the parking industry.
Improved inventory control, better revenue management, transparent pricing models, all advantages of the mobile boom, and if we work hard at it, only the beginning of what can be a gold-mine opportunity.
