Fixed, headquartered in San Francisco, is a mobile application that fights your parking tickets for you. The only thing you have to, is snap a picture of the ticket with your mobile phone. Fixed recently raised $1.2 Million for its app. Investors include Y Combinator, Merus Capital, Scott Banister, John Cobbs, Mark Randolph, Matt Humpries, Erica Wu and David King.
Fixed launch in January 2014 and currently has around 35,000 users in San Francisco. The city never tried to stop them, but they weren’t very cooperative either, according to one of the co-founders of Fixed.
With the additional funds, Fixed wants to expand throughout San Francisco, increase their marketing efforts and hire advocates to handle the growing number of parking tickets. Currently Fixed has 6 employees at the office and 10 to 12 on the street.
