REWE & Media Markt enhance their customer friendliness and use the parking guidance system by MobiliSis®.
In Leinfelden-Echterdingen REWE and Media Markt have opened a new, cutting edge shopping centre. To enhance customer convenience and to prevent parking search traffic, the centre management opted for MagSense®.
MagSense® magnetic field sensor
At the entrance and exit as well as within the parking facility the MagSense® magnetic field sensor by MobiliSis® counts the vehicles. When entering and also inside the building, dynamic signs, which indicate the remaining number of parking lots, guide the customers to the vacant spaces.
Whereas at entrances and exits the sensors are laid in empty conduits beneath the carriageway, within the parking facility the sensors are fixed at the ceiling. Through the reinforced concrete floor they detect reliably all vehicles passing on the above floor. Thus, the building fabric of the parking facility remains almost untouched.
MobiliSis® cloud
No local server was installed. Each sensor transmit the data per radio data transmission to the MobiliSis® cloud, where they are evaluated and returned directly to the dynamic signs. To abandon the local server not only saves cabling costs but also reduces system costs.
„Buy data not sensors”
MagSense® 3DTC is the magnetic field sensor of MobiliSis®, which has key advantages compared to all other technologies.

It allows even operators with a low budget using MagSense® to benefit from its advantages and to offer an attractive service.
