In the latest news from IP Parking, we have new IP Products and new features.
IP Payment System, IPS
The smartphone has become an integral part of our society, which led us to incorporate the use of smartphone technology in our parking solutions. The Covid-19 Pandemic has made it exceedingly desirable to limit contact with equipment commonly touched and used by others. Having parkers pay using their smartphones eliminates contact with commonly shared surfaces and reduces payment lines during peak hours.
IP Payment System (IPS) is a mobile payment solution that allows your customers to pay their parking fee using a smartphone instead of paying at a physical terminal. With IPS, parkers do not have to worry about downloading an app or registering for a subscription.
After payment, parkers are allotted a period of time to exit the parking facility. IPS will also reduce the number of cash registers and other physical payment options one must facilitate, along with all associated costs. Below is a brief explanation of how it works for ticket and ticketless systems.

The IPS site is available in 4 languages: Dutch, English (and English US), German, and French.

2-Factor Authentication, 2FA
To ensure the security of our system, we only communicate via secure connections with ParkBase (also known as HTTPS). To make the system even more secure, 2-factor authentication (2FA) can now also be applied.
What is 2-Factor Authentication?
ParkBase not only offers the option to log in with a username and password, but also to link an app. We do this to check whether the person logging in is really the right person.
This means that if credentials are stolen or leaked, those credentials cannot be used to login. The code generated by the app must be entered each time the login is performed. This 2FA code changes every minute. This mechanism is known as 2-factor authentication, abbreviated to 2FA.
In this way, IP Parking guarantees the security of your system.
The use of 2FA can be imposed on a user by the administrator of ParkBase and FirmBase.
