ETI experts, founded in 2002 in Cologne, provides debt collection management and Back-Office services for more than 15,000 customers in Germany and around Europe. ETI experts use a unique interface that allows data to be sent from German drivers to the country where the vehicle was improperly parked. ETI also works in cooperation with the KBA (Federal motor vehicle transport), which provides the car holder data. Most of ETI experts’ customers are Dutch and Italian municipalities and private car park managers that work with automatic license plate recognition cameras, due to the considerable number of German cars that travel through the border and break the parking or traffic law. Moreover, ETI experts’ customers are not only in the Netherlands and Italy but all over Europe.
The Process
ETI Expert uses a Rest API interface, which helps to automatize the data exchange between the customers and ETI experts. It all starts when e.g.:

1. The license plate recognition camera catches the German car breaking the law when the car parks incorrectly and gets a fine or when the car holder does not pay the parking ticket in the car park.
2. Later the company sends the information to an ETI expert with the license plate.
3. ETI connects with KBA to get the car holder data (name, address, etc.).
4. Then the ETI expert transfers the information to the company that requested it and finally addresses the fine to the driver or ETI experts deliver directly the fine to the German car holder. In the case of unpaid fines, bills, or tickets, ETI experts offer to send friendly payment reminders and debt collection management for free that guarantee the payment including payment monitoring.
