Xerox Parking is Expanding Activity in North America with Codex System

Xerox Parking is a leader in off-street parking management systems with more than 1,700 installed systems throughout the world. These systems are ideal for shopping malls, hotels, airports, hospitals and city center off-street parking.

The latest off-street parking solution by Xerox is the Codex product range. What makes this parking solution unique is the use of 2D barcode contactless technology instead of the typical magnetic stripe technology. The ticket reading is non-motorized so customers can be processed faster. The system is also more economical in terms of maintenance and operation because there are less moving parts and the price of consumables is lower.

Codex is part of Multipark, the well-known parking management platform developed by Xerox Parking. Multipark offers web access for local or centralized management, web services interfaces to on line booking systems, e-commerce applications and supports all types of payments by cash, contactless cards, mobile phones or card in card out.

Xerox has a strong presence in the European and Middle Eastern markets. Now, it looks to expand to the North and South American markets starting with the United States.
