WPS wins Good Design Award

OOD DESIGN awards are presented annually by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design together with The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. Thousands of products and designs are reviewed, but only the top visionary and innovative products concepts are granted the GOOD DESIGN seal.

Companies that produce products that embody design and innovation, sustainability, creativity, branding, human factors, and technology are recognized by the GOOD DESIGN panel. ParkID was placed in the 2009 Environment category for advancements in automated parking equipment.

The GOOD DESIGN award, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, is internationally recognized as the premiere accolade for the design of new products.

"This is the singular, international design awards program the entire design and corporate world waits for each year," states Christian K. Narkiewicz-Laine, Museum President, The Chicago Athenaeum. "GOOD DESIGN has immediate public recognition for the best new design produced worldwide, added Narkiewicz-Laine.

The 2009 awards were judged in New York by a panel comprised of international design professionals, architects, experts, and cultural leaders. WPS is honored to have been given such a prestigious award and is proud that ParkID is achieving international success.
