WPS Appoints Todd Townsend as the New Managing Director for US

WPS Parking Systems has appointed Todd Townsend to be the new Managing Director for US.

With the appointment of industry veteran Todd Townsend, WPS is positioned to capitalize on its robust portfolio of proven smart city technologies, strengthen its rich customer relationships, and expand further in the dynamic US Parking and Mobility markets.

Todd has held senior management roles with global leaders like WPS over the course of his 20+ years in the Parking and Mobility markets.

His most recent role was Vice President, Sales & Operations of Amano McGann Inc., where he led major direct municipal sales initiatives, had key account responsibility, built strategic partnerships and oversaw the SaaS hosted solutions.

Prior to Amano Todd has held multi-faceted leadership positions such as Director of Sales, Strategic Alliance Director and Director, Municipal Division for global firms in the transportation industry.

Townsend's strong customer-first focus and collaborative mind-set has led to award-winning programs and some of the largest blockbuster deals in industry history.

A native of Rome, NY, Townsend holds an MBA in Management from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, NC and received his BS, Marketing from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA.
