State of the art parking equiped with WPS parking system

This parking houses 2,000 spaces directly underneath the 5-acre Chavasse Park. Strand Street is no ordinary underground car park. The car park's stunning design includes features such as granite steps, a staircase modelled on a windmill, atrium styling, dramatic lighting and unusually wide parking spaces. The five-level state of the art car park is a secure site that allows access only to paying patrons after hours. Pedestrians have to insert their parking ticket to gain access, ensuring maximum safety and security. Each parking level of the garage features different coloured uplighters to distinguish between floors. The signage is red for traffic and green for pedestrians, making it easy for shoppers to navigate their way around this huge 2,000-space car park.

Along with this parking system, 2 other car parks in Liverpool (Hanover Street and John Lewis) where supplied with a WPS parking system. All 3 car parks, with a total of 3,000 spaces, are manned from a central control room at Strand Street. In order to provide an extra dimension of safety a CCTV installation was installed.
