ImPark successfully tested and accepted by Q-Park

WPS Parking Systems, part of the stock exchange listed Royal Imtech, has announced that it reached an important milestone in the roll-out of its new parking system ImPark with the successful acceptance by Q-Park following rigorous testing to the car park operator’s exacting new parking systems standards. The ImPark system is the combination of our industry leading ParkAdvance hardware and ParkID Cloud software.

ImPark is an exciting new approach to Parking Management Systems which offers Car Park providers a broad spectrum of new possibilities and functionality to optimize revenues, reduce operating costs and improve customer experience.

Peter Peddemors, director of WPS Parking Systems: ‘WPS created ImPark, based on the latest concepts of network infrastructure and parking needs. Rather than just adding more modules to traditional parking software, which has been the typical approach in the industry, we took the radical step of developing a completely new IP based operating platform ideally suited our interconnected, technology driven world. The ImPark system is perfect for international roll-out, in support of WPS’s overall strategy to become a top three player in the parking technology industry.’

Pascal van Kesteren, Global Product Manager at WPS: ‘Our knowledge of parking solutions combined with using the latest insights in network infrastructures, has allowed WPS to create a state-of-the-art parking solution. The comprehensive services offered by Impark are not only flexible but also easy and cost effectively scaled to any size of parking operation whether single or multi-site. The elegant IP based configuration means that a new installed parking facility can be inter-connected within a matter of seconds’. ‘
