Royal Imtech N.V. recently filed for bankruptcy, the full press release can be found here: http://imtech.com/EN/corporate/Newsroom/Press-releases/Royal-Imtech-NV-declared-bankrupt-by-Rotterdam-court-Marine-and-Nordic-divisio.html
To clarify, this did not include the Division Traffic & Infra of which WPS, on a global basis, is a part. We secured a buyer, Egeria, for the Division Traffic & Infra, including WPS, on August 18 2015. The official message can be found here: http://imtech.com/EN/traffic-infra/Traffic-Infra-About/Traffic-Infra-Newsroom/(48484)-Press-Releases/Imtech-Traffic-and-Infra-secures-new-owner.html?highlight=
With our new owner, Egeria, we have the opportunity to continue our good work and deliver on our commitments to our markets.
Egeria is a well-respected Dutch private equity firm, which has €1.7 billion under management. Egeria aims to create long-term value for all parties involved by growing and developing the companies in close cooperation, and based on mutual respect and trust, with the management.
Armand Knoop, Division Director: “Our fighting spirit and belief in our Division is strong. We are grateful to our employees, our clients and our suppliers for the loyalty and support we have received during this turbulent period”.
