WPS Completes Successful Installation At Q-Park Dale Street, Liverpool

We are delighted to share exciting news from one of our recent projects in the United Kingdom. WPS has successfully completed the installation of our state-of-the-art parking solutions at Q-Park Dale Street in Liverpool, leaving our esteemed customer, Q-Park, highly satisfied with the results. This accomplishment not only reflects our commitment to providing high-quality parking solutions but also the spirit of cross-border collaboration that defines our organization.

Q-Park Dale Street: A vital hub

Nestled in the heart of Liverpool's Business District, Q-Park Dale Street offers 285 parking spaces and plays a pivotal role in the city's urban infrastructure. Its strategic location near Moorfields Train Station and major shopping centers like the Metquarter and Liverpool ONE make it an essential resource for commuters and shoppers alike.

Enhancing the parking experience

At WPS, we worked diligently to improve the parking experience at Q-Park Dale Street. We installed essential equipment, including:

• 2 Entry Terminals
• 2 Exit Terminals
• 1 Card-only Pay Station
• 1 Full Pay Station (with a cash option as a backup)
• 4 Automatic System Barrier Units

We were committed to meeting our customer's needs, and when Q-Park expressed a preference for straight barrier arms to ensure ceiling clearance, we adapted our approach accordingly. This adaptability underlines our commitment to delivering top-notch solutions.

In addition to our equipment, we seamlessly integrated Q-Park's own ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) cameras to support their PaSS subscriber system, ensuring a seamless and efficient parking experience for users.

Cross-border collaboration

A standout feature of this project is the collaboration that extended across borders. Sven Zijlstra, Project Manager WPS Netherlands, flew over to assist our local UK technicians. This cross-border teamwork embodies the teamwork and dedication that defines our organization.

What lies ahead

While the installation of our WPS equipment has been successfully completed, Q-Park will be carrying out some follow-up work, including replacing floor tiles, painting the lobby area, and coating the lanes. These final touches will ensure a polished and fully functional parking facility for all visitors.
