Technoso Control Systems Wins Tender to Supply DEAD SEA Hotel District With Automated Parking Access Systems

Technoso Control Systems LTD has been chosen to supply Tamar regional council (Dead sea region) with automated parking systems for the municipality parking lots in the hotel district.

Technoso will be installing parking access and revenue control systems as well as digital signs displaying the number of available spaces in ten parking lots in the main tourist area of the Dead sea.

Technoso systems will eliminate the need for parking inspectors to constantly monitor the parking lots. Additionally, the systems chosen are Technoso's wireless and ticketless systems that save the municipality the cost of installing hundreds of meters of communication cables. This allows the municipality to control and monitor all the parking lots from the convenience of one off-site control room. The ticketless system will also save the municipality the sizable annual cost of paper and keep the streets and parking lots clean of discarded tickets.

The Dead sea receives over two million tourists a year and was recently a serious contender in the Wonders of the World competition.

Currently, there are 15 hotels with a total of about 3850 rooms.
