The Client

Gloskin Parking Lot is a privately owned parking lot in the center of Rehovot, surrounded by retail, hospitality, and entertainment venues that operate day and night.

The Challenge

Lacking an automatic parking access system to manage the parking lot meant three guards were required to manage the parking lot during the day and it had to be closed from 8 pm every night. The owners of the parking lot were facing financial challenges posed by the need for manual operation and maintenance of the parking lot.

The client needed a solution to automate the management of the parking lot that would:

• Remove the need for on-site guards
• Enable the parking lot to remain open 24/7
• Lower operating costs and increase revenue

The Solution

The Gloskin Parking Lot’s owners approached Technoso to install its innovative, cloud-based parking management system to automate and reduce the costs of managing the car park.

Technoso installed a new parking management system including:

• 2 ticketless entrance terminals, ensuring smooth, no-contact entry into the parking lot within seconds
• 1 Ticket-Recycle exit terminal
• Integrations with leading parking payment apps Pango and Cellopark for automated payment solutions
• Intercoms at every terminal, for fast and direct customer support

The Result

Offering a 100% cloud-based, wireless parking lot management system meant there was no need for complicated construction/cabling work, and Technoso completed the installation within a few days. The automated system enabled the parking lot to remain open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, resulting in increased revenue for the client. As the client no longer needed to rely on the physical presence of guards/operators, operational costs were cut almost instantly.

The client also reported that the system’s built-in LED lights attracted more customers to enter the parking lot. In addition, Technoso’s web-based BI system provided the client with insightful and accurate data and analytics, leading to more effective planning and decision making.
