Visa Revalidates T2 Systems Compliance with PCI Standards as Level I Service Provider
The Visa Global Registry of Service Providers has officially announced T2 Systems revalidation of compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
We are thrilled to continue to simplify PCI compliance for our customers, said Jim Hutchins, Chief Information Officer at T2 Systems. We thoroughly review our security policies, practices and infrastructure frequently in order to prevent, detect and correct any anomalies in our security program.
In 2010, T2 Systems became the first Parking Access and Revenue Control (PARCS) provider to achieve PCI DSS compliance and be recognized as a level I service provider.
"Our customers tell us that having their unified parking system in T2's PCI compliant hosting environment helps them sleep better at night. As PCI standards continue to change, it brings them peace of mind to know that T2 is constantly working on staying compliant and protecting their credit card data. While as merchants they have the ultimate PCI compliance responsibility, T2 does the lion share of the work for them. And we are happy to do it, stated Irena Goloschokin, EVP of Strategy and Products at T2 Systems.
T2 Systems anticipates continued compliance; Visa requires revalidation every 12 months. For a list of PCI DSS validated entities, visit www.visa.com/splisting.
