Next Realty implements web-based T2 PARCS solution in downtown Philadelphia
T2 Systems and Forturion install T2 PARCS solution in a garage near Kimmel Center
Next Realty, a successful real estate investment company focused on the acquisition of shopping centers, parking structures and single tenant commercial properties, chose the T2 Flex PARCS solution to help manage parking near the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, located in Philadelphia, PA, which is operated by Central Parking.
The system was implemented by T2 and Forturion in September and serves as a validation system for events taking place in and around the Kimmel Center. Interfacing with Ticket Philadelphia, which sells parking permits for events at the center, T2 Flex records the sale of permits and automatically makes them active for the specified event.
Michael Nichols, Vice President, Parking Development for Next Realty, explains that Next chose T2 Flex for several reasons, one being the fact that its a web-based solution. The advantages of implementing a web based application were so obvious to us. Working with Central Parking, our local operator, we can see how many parkers are using our facilities and we dont have to be onsite to get the information we need, Nichols said. In addition, the reporting capabilities of the system, especially from a financial perspective, offer great benefit to us.
Michael Simmons, co-founder and president of T2 Systems, is excited about the new partnership with Next Realty. Working with a real estate investment company is new for us and were excited about the possibilities this brings to both T2 Systems and Next Realty, he said. Were proud of how our solutions are performing and we look forward to expanding this project and working together on new projects in the future.
Both T2 Systems and Next Realty are excited about the next phase of this project which includes the development of an online parking permit sales solution that integrates with recurring credit card billing.
