Smart Parking- the new name for Car Parking Technologies
Car Parking Technologies (CTP) Ltd, the Australian publicly listed business offering parking solutions to car parking providers across Australasia, will become known as Smart Parking from 1 July.
The renaming of our Australasian operations completes a key development phase for us that commenced with the acquisition of UK based car parking management services provider Town & City Parking (TCP) and the purchase of New Zealand registered technology developer Meter Eye.
Town & City Parking was re-branded as Smart Parking in 2012, and, with this process in the UK now complete, we have taken the decision to integrate the rest of our worldwide operations, which includes our activities in Australia, New Zealand and the US, under the Smart Parking name.
Changing the name of our business to Smart Parking reflects the global nature of demand for both technology and support services from our customers in our key markets. The change will also help us to project a unified message to existing and prospective clients and commercial partners – wherever they are in the world, and whichever sector of the parking industry they are in.
Your Smart Parking contacts in Australia and New Zealand are unchanged. Peter Pedersen peter.peterson@smartparking.com oversees our Australian client relationships, with Jake Bezzant jake.bezzant@smartparking.com managing accounts in New Zealand.
