There’s a New Parking App in Town
In the midst of putting the finishing touches on our new SmartCloud platform - as well as other R&D developments - we’ve also found time to develop and launch our new app.
‘Smart Parking’ is now available to download for both Android and iOS, and contains a raft of features that will help motorists
find a park, as well as providing detailed, live information around hours and availability, tariffs, directions and distance.
The app is powered by SmartCloud - our Google Cloud based smart cities platform – which enables it to operate both at an overview level and at a granular, bay-by-bay level, meaning you can drill down and pinpoint the best parking option for you – great for when you’re in an unfamiliar city.
The good news for our customers is that the app is part of our Smart Park solution, meaning your site can be added into the database and be available for motorists to use when looking for parking locally. We can also produce customised and individually branded versions of this app for those who have specific requirements.
So far we have sites visible in Wellington, Cardiff, Singapore, Canberra, Sydney and Adelaide, with plans to rapidly expand this by adding the rest of our global sites over the coming months. We are also looking forward to making the parking payment option feature live for various locations - watch this space!
In the meantime, make sure you download the app and get familiar with all of its features and benefits.
