A Brand New Coles Supermarket Requires a Cutting Edge Car Park
Australian supermarket giant Coles is adding a brand new super store to their portfolio in Middle Camberwell, Victoria. To enhance the customer experience they will also be including a 3-level underground car park – which Smart Parking are contracted to install our parking system in.
Along with in-ground sensors, we will be installing OHIs which act both as a sensor and an occupancy indicator, by way of LED lights that change colour depending on the activity in the individual bay. These OHIs are an extremely popular choice for off-street car parks as they afford motorists a clear view of available bays, cutting down on time cars are spent circling a car park looking for a park.
To further enhance the customer experience, Smart Parking will also be installing smart signage that will let motorists know how many spaces are available, and direct them to the best level to park on. The SmartPark system is powered by our back end software, which allows Coles to remotely monitor and update their site, and customised mapping will allow them to see site overview and create customised reporting.
Smart Parking National Sales Manager, Ben Williams, commented “Smart Parking have been working with Coles for almost a year now, and it’s great to be adding yet another store to the portfolio. We’re excited to be a part of Coles’ new build at Middle Camberwell and are looking forward to installing a cutting edge smart system so shoppers at Coles are guaranteed a quick, hassle-free parking experience.”
