Smart Parking Expands into Germany with Managed Services

Leading parking technology and services provider, Smart Parking, is continuing its technology led growth journey with operational expansion into Germany.

Smart Parking has identified Germany as having the desirable infrastructure, smart city congestion obstacles and attractive market conditions that will support the Groups growth objectives in mainland Europe.

Leading the new German team in the role of Managing Director is Emil Strobl. Emil comes to us with extensive experience in the parking industry, previously holding the role of Chief Operating Officer of a major parking industry player in Germany. Added to this, Emil has held several senior positions at METRO AG involving business development and leadership of international market entry missions in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

The Smart Parking global technology development team will provide support in Germany with regards to all technology requirements, from our market-leading SmartCloud management platform and enforcement workflow systems to complete compliance management, automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) and mobile applications.

Smart Parking are focused on bringing both of our key offerings – ANPR managed parking services and sensor-based technology parking solutions – to the German market. This is a new and exciting chapter in the growth of Smart Parking as we look to the future with the view of expanding our addressable markets and increasing our global footprint.
