Coles Rolls Out Another Successful Smart Parking Installment

In July we were proud to announce Australian brand, Coles Supermarkets has chosen to work with Smart Parking to make parking easier and more convenient for its customers at new openings nationally.

The latest installation sees our SmartGuide solution deployed at Coles Willowdale in Sydney, New South Wales.

Set to open this week, the new Willowdale Shopping Centre will also include a mix of specialty retailers, alfresco dining areas alongside the full-line Coles supermarket.

The SmartGuide system, which detects the occupancy status of every parking space allows drivers check guidance signage to assess how many spaces are available on each row ensuring that the Coles car park is an easy place for users to navigate.

The installation comprises of 262 in-ground vehicle detection sensors linked to overhead variable message signs along with SmartRep, Smart Parking’s powerful car parking management software tool.
