Coconut Grove in Miami, Florida, Now Has a Smart City Parking Solution

Smart Parking has been working with WiseMoving Technologies to bring our product and technology to the American market, starting with a project for the City of Miami.

Coconut Grove is located in the middle of Miami, yet is seen as a tropical oasis and a destination neighbourhood due to its bohemian vibe and eclectic mix of cafés and restaurants, boutiques, galleries, and stunning marina.

The City of Miami recognised the need for some form of parking monitoring and control to manage the flow of local and visitor vehicles. After due process, they selected Smart Parking’s product and system through our American distributor - WiseMoving Technologies.

In-ground sensors and SmartSpot gateways were installed on the streets of Coconut Grove, which are linked through to our SmartCloud platform and dashboard.

As well, we developed a customised app called Smart Park Miami, which provides people real-time information around navigation, bay availability and guidance.
