SKIDATA Inc. exhibits at Parking Industry Exhibition 2004

The PIE exhibition has grown from a 30-exhibitor event seven years ago to one of the largest and most comprehensive international parking exhibitions. All aspects of the parking industry are represented, from ticketing and revenue control solutions to fully automated parking garages.

During the exhibition, a one-hour 'Technology Breakfast' was held. All exhibitors were invited to send a technical representative to be on a discussion panel. SKIDATA Inc. was represented by product manager Karen Pradhan. The audience, which consisted of about 40–50 interested visitors, could then ask questions of the panel on the present and future technologies available in off-street parking systems. The majority of questions concerned on-line systems, web applications, and credit card options – issues where SKIDATA has been playing a major pioneering role in the past and continues to set new standards for the parking industry of tomorrow.
