SKIDATA, Inc. cites Sentry Control Systems Pro-green Parking Initiatives at the Molasky Corporate Center
For the Molasky Corporate Center Project recently completed in Las Vegas‚ SKIDATAs Distributor, Sentry Control Systems installed LEED-compatible parking systems. The six-level‚ 1‚450-space parking garage features 150 photovoltaic panels atop its roof, which generate a portion of the buildings electricity.
Some primary benefits of the Molasky Corporate Center PARCS project include:
Visitor ease-of-use: The SKIDATA system is fully automated and minimizes queuing time for transient parkers because the exit columns read the visitors’ ticket in any of 4 directions. Shorter queues mean fewer emissions and more satisfied visitors.
Visitors can pay at a paystation/or in-lane with credit cards: The visitors pay while on foot, thereby minimizing carbon emissionsversus waiting in a cashiered lane with a car running. If a balance is due, then the Exit Column reads the credit card in either of two directions with the magnetic stripe facing down. This simplifies matters for the visitor, minimizes queues, and saves petroleum.
Tagmaster Readers: The integrated readers minimize queuing time for tenants because the read-range has been optimized for a parking application. Shorter queues mean fewer emissions and much more satisfied visitors. Molasky uses TagMaster Watchman Readers, Mark-tags, and firmware which seamlessly integrates with SKIDATA systems.
Tim Flanagan of Sentry Control Systems noted that "We take pride in delivering parking solutions that help reduce total carbon emissions. Our equipment is made of durable, abuse-resistant materials that help reduce maintenance calls and costs. Systems can be configured as paperless operations and provide remote monitoring and control." Equipment installed by Sentry includes SKIDATA Entry/Exit Columns and classic Automatic Paystations, with Tagmaster LR6 Readers, and Real-time Credit Card Authorization. Sentry covers remote software diagnostics, warranty services, and the multi-year service agreement for service and parts.
