When finished, this new exhibition complex will house eight interconnected halls with a total exhibition area of 530,000 square metres, as well as 80 conference halls, 20 restaurants, and 25 bars. Its car park, with over 10,000 spaces, is in two garages.

SkiData’s APT 450 parking system, already deployed at more than 250 parking facilities in Italy, features a traffic guidance system which directs motorists along the optimum route to the nearest free space. Ticket dispensers and gate terminals are computer-controlled for speed optimised ticket dispensing and validation. A special speed passage system allows for entry and exit gates to open automatically on approach. Security at the Nuovo Polo facilities is ensured through full round-the-clock CCTV monitoring and a series of easy-to-use SOS emergency call terminals. Administration of the car park is further simplified by open TCP/IP interfaces and a remote management system that supports DSL, HTML, and SMS.
