SKIDATA at Annual Resort Automation Conference in Vail
At the conference in Vail, Colorado, representatives of leading North American winter sports regions showed great interest in SKIDATA's "Open Interface Reader" concept.
Organised by Resort Technology Partners, a major North American provider of leisure industry solutions, this year's RAC (Resort Automation Conference) was again attended by numerous representatives of leading North American winter sports resorts and participants from the leisure park and golfing industries.
At the co-scheduled trade exhibition, SKIDATA presented its Open Interface Reader, which has been designed specifically for the US market to meet the requirements of some of the leading cashiering, customer administration, and resort management systems. The concept attracted great interest among visitors and conference attendees, as many ski lift and leisure facility operators in the US still rely on manual ticket checking – a practice that is very cost inefficient by European standards.
