SKIDATA AG announces acquisition of majority stake in Belgian distribution partner PACT S.A.

Austrian-based SKIDATA AG, a member of the Swiss Kudelski Group and leading international access control specialist, announces the acquisition of a controlling stake in Belgiums leading parking access control provider PACT SA, SKIDATAs distribution partner for the Belgian market since 1999. The transaction is effective as of September 1 2007. The new firm will be known as SKIDATA SA/NV.

The move, as SKIDATA CEO Charles Egli and PACT founder Jacques Rubini point out, is intended to strengthen customer relations and reflects SKIDATA's commitment to sustained expansion through organic growth and M&A goals.

This decision underscores SKIDATAs worldwide growth strategy, which follows or-ganic growth objectives as well as M&A goals. Solidifying our cooperation with PACT will bring us closer to our Belgian clients and help us to strengthen our key account relationships, says Charles Egli, CEO of SKIDATA AG.
