SKIDATA parking products nominated for international Innovation Award for second time in a row

Gartenau/Salzburg, February 5 2004 – The nomination underscores yet again SKIDATA's position as leading innovator in both software and hardware development. The decision to nominate SKIDATA's trendsetting mobile ticketing solution for car drivers was based on its technologically innovative concept, its carefully thought-out design, and its practical benefits.

International jury of industry experts

The jury consists of several noted industry experts and professionals, among them Prof. I. A. Hansen of the Technical University of Delft (Holland), and representatives of the University of Parma and the Dutch Ministry of Transport, Water Management and Public Works. As a result, the nomination standards are anything but standard, leaving only the very best entries to survive the panel's scrutiny.

Intertraffic product manager Sebas van den Ende explains the importance of the Intertraffic Award: "Intertraffic provides a platform that is used for the introduction of hundreds of new products. Both the nomination and the award itself can be seen as a reward for those who manage, time and again, to surprise us with revolutionary innovations at Intertraffic.
